Individual Giving
Matching Gifts
Increase your contribution to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation with your company's matching gift program and you double the impact of your generosity.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation may be doubled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

Memorials & Tributes
A tribute or memorial gift is a meaningful way to remember a loved one's legacy or express your appreciation for someone special. Your gift will make a difference in the lives of others on behalf of a loved one today, tomorrow and far into the future all while supporting young leaders involved in agricultural education.

When a gift is made in memory, in honor or in celebration of someone, a special letter is sent to the individual being honored or to whom you indicate should be notified of the gift.

To make a gift in someone's name, please be sure to complete all necessary information in the tribute section of the online giving form, or mail your gift directly to: Wisconsin FFA Foundation, PO Box 1502, Green Bay, WI 54305.

Requesting Memorial Gifts
Losing a loved one is difficult, but many families find comfort in honoring those they have lost by requesting memorial contributions be made to Wisconsin FFA Foundation. You can invite others to give by asking the person arranging the funeral or memorial service to insert the following phrase in the obituary notice:

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Wisconsin FFA Foundation, PO Box 1502, Green Bay, WI 54305 or online.

Life Insurance
Purchasing a life insurance policy naming the Wisconsin FFA Foundation as both the beneficiary and irrevocable owner of the policy provides a future gift for the Foundation. The Foundation may require the donor to pay, before due, any future premium payments owing on the policy.

Stock Gifts
Marketable securities may be transferred electronically to an account maintained at one or more brokerage firms or delivered physically with the transferor's endorsement or signed stock power (with appropriate signature guarantees) attached. All marketable securities will be sold promptly upon receipt unless otherwise directed by the Wisconsin FFA Foundation's Executive Committee.

IRA Required Minimum Distributions (RMD)
Required minimum distributions from an IRA can be designated as a charitable gift to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation and retirees, age 70 ½ and older, don't have to itemize to qualify for this charitable tax break.

Endowments
Creating an Endowment Fund:
Once you decide to create an endowment fund, the first step is to identify the purpose for your named endowment – such as a scholarship, program or general fund. Next, you will sign the Endowment Fund Agreement, prepared by the Wisconsin FFA Foundation. A minimal initial gift of $15,000 is necessary to establish an endowment fund. This initial gift can be made all at once or over a period of three years. You, your family and others can make additional gifts to the endowment fund at any time. You can also make deferred gifts (such as bequests, charitable remainder trust and life insurance) to the endowment fund.

Fund Maintenance and Usage
The gift to the endowment fund is invested by the Wisconsin FFA Foundation. The Foundation's Board of Directors is responsible for the legal and administrative duties associated with managing the endowment fund. And at the end of each fiscal year, the Foundation creates and sends an annual statement to the endowment's contacts, recapping the current status of the endowment fund.

Planned Giving
You can ensure that the future is bright for young leaders in agricultural education. Consider leaving a Planned Gift though through the Wisconsin FFA Foundation.

Planned gift options include:
Endowment - Contribute a minimum of $15,000 over three years or less. The principle is invested and annual earnings are used to support the program of your choice.
Bequest – Indicate in your will that you'd like to leave part of your estate to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation.
Beneficiary Designation – Indicate the Wisconsin FFA Foundation as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, IRA or non-qualified annuity.

Annual Fund
Our annual fund donors are the heartbeat of Wisconsin FFA's financial support – your gift fills in gaps where resources are needed during the year. It also grants us agility to respond to opportunities and needs as they arise. We appreciate contributions of all sizes to the annual fund!

Blue and Gold Society

The Wisconsin FFA Foundation Blue & Gold Society is the most prestigious group of individuals who have supported the Wisconsin FFA Foundation. The Society is comprised of individuals and families who generously demonstrated financial support through a gift, pledge, or planned gift of $15,000 or more to the Foundation over a period of one to three years. All are invited to join!

Blue & Gold Society members are invited to the State FFA Convention annually and new inductees are honored at convention after entering into the Society once they have made their full donation!
